William Porterfield, the Ireland opener and captain, spoke to the media about his team’s chances in the NAGICO Super50 tournament which will be played at the historic Queen’s Park Oval and the picturesque Shaw Park in Tobago.
The visiting Irish team will play their first match against Guyana in Match 2 of the tournament on Friday at the Oval. First ball is 2pm/1pm Jamaica Time.
Eight teams will take part in the tournament. Zone A includes Windward Islands, Jamaica, Guyana, and Ireland; while Zone B is made up of Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Leeward Islands, and Combined Campuses & Colleges
