Cricket Ireland’s Board and staff were saddened to hear of the passing of former President and Chair of the Northern Cricket Union, Billy Boyd.
Cricket Ireland’s Board and staff were saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Billy Boyd.
Aideen Rice, President of Cricket Ireland, said:
“I am saddened to hear of the passing of Billy. As a former President and Chairman of the NCU, passionate supporter of his local club Lurgan, and Member of Cricket Ireland, he was a popular figure within the sport. My condolences to Billy’s wife and family.”
The Northern Cricket Union has posted a heartfelt tribute on its website.
Billy was such a high-profile figure within the sport, he will be missed by all.
