Due to the extremely adverse weather conditions that the Stormont Grounds has received over the past 48 hours, there will be a 6AM pitch inspection of the ground to decide on the status of the match. The Umpires, Match Referee & the Cricket Ireland Match Organising committee will perform a thorough inspection of the ground and make a decision by 6.30am at the latest
The Pitch and Square fully covered and there has been a significant investment in equipment and drainage made in recent years. Many areas of the outfield however are extremely damp and an on-time start is looking highly unlikely as of tonight.
Every effort will be made to keep members of the public informed of the latest decision in an effort to avoid any unnecessary travel to the match. All ticket holders will receive a full refund – please see the below Ticket Refund Policy for details.
