Ireland Women have moved to the Super Sixes stage – here’s when they play

We caught up with Cricket Ireland President Aideen Rice to discuss her cricket highlight of 2018 and her thoughts about the upcoming World T20 tournament.
The Members of Cricket Ireland confirmed Aideen Rice as the President of Cricket Ireland in April 2018 – becoming the first woman to hold the role since the organisation (originally called the Irish Cricket Union) was established in 1923.
It has been a big year so far for Irish cricket – our inaugural men’s Test match, hosting the ICC Annual Conference, two sell-out T20Is against India, qualification for the ICC Women’s World T20 tournament, big year’s for the Inter-Provincial Series and Super 3’s, Waringstown’s dominance in All-Ireland club cup competitions, finalisation and release of the ICC Future Tours Programme (Ireland’s first involvement) and announcement of our first Test at Lord’s against England in 2019.
Aideen talks to us about what her highlight of the year has been so far, and looks ahead to the trip to the Caribbean for the World T20 tournament in November.
