The three Premier Leagues took a break this past weekend with the RSA Irish Senior Cup taking centre stage, but with another round of league matches coming up this weekend, it’s time to take a look at the MVP statistics.

In Leinster’s top competition, RSA Division One, Patrick Collins from Railway stormed to the lead after taking seven wickets and scoring a century against Phoenix in the Park. He is almost 30 points ahead of second placed Eddie Richardson from North County and Pembroke’s Andrew Balbirnie who is in third place.

Only three points separate Richardson, Balbirnie and Max Sorensen (4th) from The Hills and Trent Johnston from YMCA (5th).

In the NCU’s Ulster Bank Premier League Ballymena’s Kaushik Aphale tops the list moving up nine places from week one, 13 points ahead of North Down’s Johnny Terrett who was knocked off the top spot. North Down’s Martin Moreland was consequently pushed down to third spot while Griffin Nieuwoudt from CSN moved up 81 places to fourth. Another North Down player, Tim Ley, rounds out the top five, being pushed down to fifth spot in week two.

In the Long’s Supervalu Premier League, the top division in the NWCU, Bready’s Romano Ramoo moved up 10 spots to top the list just .76 ahead of second placed Iftikhar Hussain from Fox Lodge.

In third place is Niall McDonnell from Coleraine and three points behind him is 2012 club player of the year Johnny Thompson from Brigade. Strabane’s Mathew Bentley is another two points behind in fifth place.
