Ireland Qualify for World Cup with Thailand win

It was planned to run an ‘overflow’ Welcome to Coaching course within the NCU region, through funding secured through the Active Clubs Programme. Cricket Ireland can confirm that this course is now FULLY BOOKED.
This winter has been hugely successful in terms of Coach Education with nearly 100 NCU coaches gaining their Welcome to Coaching qualification alone!
The strengthened communication between Cricket Ireland and the NCU clubs, assisted by Simon Johnston (Active Clubs Development Officer – NCU) and Michael Hingston (Coach Education Manager) recently taking up their roles. As we move towards the season the more ‘formal’ coaching courses will tail off and Cricket Ireland will look to support your clubs and their coaches through various other methods throughout the summer.
There is a very large demand for Coach Education currently within the union and whilst we are unlikely to run any further courses before the start of the season, we would encourage you to begin to think of individuals within your club that you would like to have on future courses.
We are beginning to compile a waiting list of individuals that are looking to go on the next batch of courses, so please make us aware of people within your club that are interested in attending these courses. You can either send their name and contact details to Scott Irvine at scott.irvine@cricketireland.ie or complete the Coaching Course Interest document [CLICK HERE] on behalf of your club and return to Scott Irvine at your earliest convenience.
If you have any further questions or queries please get in contact with Scott on the email address above.
