Leinster Lightning have today announced their winter training squad ahead of the 2016 season.
The squad is led by a number of familiar faces, but youngsters Rory Anders, Josh Little, Lorcan Tucker and Jack Tector all make the winter squad, along with Adrian Darcy of Clontarf.
John Mooney will once again lead the squad that includes fellow Irish internationals John Anderson, Tyrone Kane, Andrew Poynter, Peter Chase and Kevin O’Brien. The squad will look even stronger as the season approaches, with George Dockrell and Barry McCarthy, both currently playing in Australia, to be added in.
Pre and post-Christmas the squad will take part in training sessions as the Lightning look to build up to the 2016 season as they attempt to retain the clean sweep of trophies they won in 2015.
