Ireland Women continued their preparation for the ICC World T20 with a match against local side from Aditya Global Sports today.
The match was the Girls in Green’s first match since the ICC World T20 Qualifer in Thailand last year, and coach Aaron Hamilton was happy with the run out from his side.

Speaking to www.cricketireland.ie after the match, he said: “Today was a really good tough hit out for the group in what was our first proper match scenario. Both Shiller (Clare Shillington) & Cecelia batted really well up top for us, and we retired a number of the batters to ensure people got a chance in the middle.”

“It was also really good run out for our bowlers. It really hammered home the small margin for error on these wickets. Isobel bowled really well today and was the pick of the bowlers.”

“A really important hit out to get some of our process right moving on to India & Bangladesh in the official warm up games later this week & then into the tournament it’s self.”
