Jack Tector will captain the Ireland U17 squad in their three game series against Scotland next month.
There’s just the one change to the Irish squad which beat The Netherlands 2-1 last week, as Instonians speedster Andrew Forbes comes in for Bready wicket-keeper batsman Andrew Austin.
Pembroke have four representatives in the 13 man squad, with the Tucker brothers, Sonny Cott and David Murphy. Phoenix have two players, spinner Ben White and all-rounder Rory Anders.
Donemana twins Gary and William McClintock are included, as well as Strabane’s Aaron Gillespie. The in-form Adam Dennison from Waringstown, and Clontarf’s prolific run scorer Colin Currie complete a talented line-up.
Drummond is the venue for the first 50 over clash on Tuesday August 12, before the sides make the short journey to Eglinton for another 50 over match the following day. The series concludes with a T20 contest at the same venue on Thursday August 14th. All games start at 11am.
