Fantastic first innings performance from the Ireland bowlers sees the World Twenty20 Champions Sri Lanka restricted to just 219. Pick of the Ireland bowlers was Tim Murtagh who gave very little away, finishing with 2-17 off his 9 overs – including the wickets of Senanayake and Perera. Kulesakera and Mendis threatened late on with some lusty blows, but tight bowling from the Boys in Green kept the visitors to 219 for 8.
