CRICKET fans have a chance to secure an early Christmas present as tickets for Ireland’s May 2017 clashes with New Zealand and Bangladesh go on sale this weekend.

The sides are playing a series of one-day internationals (ODIs) in Dublin between May 12th and 24th 2017, with the “Boys in Green” taking on the Tigers and the Black Caps in a feast of cricketing action.

As part of a special “Green Weekend”, tickets will be on sale for just three days only between November 18th-20th via Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.

There will be big 20% discounts on the normal ticket prices during the 72 hour bonanza.

An adult package for all six ODIs costs just €48, and just €20 for under 16’s. A family package (2 adults, 2 children) offers superb value at just €96.

Cricket Ireland Marketing Manager Niamh O’Shea encouraged fans to take advantage of this Super Early Bird Special offer saying: “One of our main goals is to make cricket more accessible, and we feel these ticket offers really fit within that aim – of course, with Christmas just around the corner, there’s no better time to treat the cricket fan in your life, or else introduce someone to our great sport.

“With all of Ireland’s matches being played on Fridays and Sundays at our premier venue in Malahide, there’s an even better chance of packing the ground with passionate Irish cricket fans. We’ve yet to conquer the Black Caps so these are must-attend events as we encounter New Zealand in an ODI for the first time on Irish soil.

Further information on the games and ticket prices can be found on the official Cricket Ireland website www.cricketireland.ie and via Ticketmaster outlets nationwide www.ticketmaster.ie
