Ava Canning forced to withdraw from Ireland Women’s squad

Ireland Under 19’s face a shoot-out against their celtic rivals, the Scotland Under 19’s today in the Netherlands to decide who will go to the 2014 Under 19 Cricket World Cup.
Ireland stand 0.14 behind Scotland on net run rate and a win by a margin of around 20 runs or with around 4 overs to spare when chasing should be enough to see the Boys in Green home to the World Cup Spot.
It will not be in anyway easy however as Scotland are unbeaten so far in the tournament with their opening bowler Nicholas Farrar leading the wicket taking tables with 14 so far.
