Senior international Robyn Lewis makes her comeback after her recent injury along with her YMCA colleague Aoife Beggs, while there are also two representatives from The Hills (Katie Boylan, Aisling Byrne), Malahide (Lara Maritz, Caoimhe McCann) and Leinster (Anna Kerrison, Ellen Ridgeway).

The squad is completed by Orla Martin from Phoenix and Saintfield’s Cara Murray.

“A lot of this squad have been involved in the Toyota Super 3 games throughout the summer,” said Head Coach Aaron Hamilton. “It will be interesting to see how the players go against players in their own age group.”

“This series will be a good opportunity for Robyn Lewis to get some cricket under her belt after recovering from a wrist injury, and it will be great experience for Leah Paul to skipper this group after her first call-up to the open squad.

“I’m anticipating that Leah, Robyn and Lara Maritz bring some real leadership to this group after their recent time with Ireland A in Loughborough.”

The series kicks off with a T20 contest on Friday August 12, followed by a 50 over game on the Saturday, and concluding with a 40 over match on the Sunday.
