Ireland Qualify for World Cup with Thailand win

President of Cricket Ireland, Dr. Murry Power, has expressed condolences to the family and colleagues of Jagmohan Dalmiya on the passing of the BCCI President yesterday.
Dr. Power said: “It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of President of the BCCI Jagmohan Dalmiya. Prior to his two tenures at the head of the BCCI, I recall meeting Mr Dalmiya in his previous role as President of the International Cricket Council in the late 90s. Whilst at the helm of the international organisation Mr Dalmiya was a great advocate for the game at associate level, and helped pave the way for emerging nations such as Ireland to get a foothold on the international stage.
“All at Cricket Ireland would like to express our sympathies to his family and colleagues in India.”
