After heavy rain in the NWCU and the NCU, LCU is the only region where there is movement in the CricHQ MVP tables this week
Rain put paid to both the NCU’s Ulster Bank Premier League and the NWCU’s Long’s Supervalu Premier League this weekend, so the LCU’s RSA Division One is the only League where there is movement in the CricHQ MVP tables this week.
Last week’s number one, Patrick Collins from Railway, has retained his spot at the top but his huge lead has been more than halved as Merrion’s John Anderson jumped five places into second this week. John Anderson’s five-wicket haul in his team’s 10-wicket crushing defeat of Phoenix helped him cut Collins’ lead to just eight points.
He pushes Eddie Richardson down one spot into third despite the North County man’s 71 not-out against Leinster, while Nicolaas Pretorius jumped 10 places to relegate teammate Max Sorensen into fifth spot from fourth. Pretorius scored 104 for The Hills against Pembroke as well as taking one caught behind and two run-outs to play a vital role in his team’s win.
