Get ahead of the game! Belfast City Council’s annual sports conference is back for a sixth year.
Where: Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast
When: Monday 22 October 2012, 6pm – 9pm.
Tickets cost £5 per person, or three tickets for just £10.
Network with sports clubs, coaches, administrators and volunteers and learn more about the latest issues and guidance in sport.
You can participate in a range of workshops on the following topics:
Belfast Clubmark
funding your club
growing participation levels
volunteering and its importance
female participation, and
preparing for elite sport.
The conference will also examine the Olympic legacy with local Olympians, Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlon, who will be joining us to tell their story of the London 2012 games.
Other special guests attending this year’s conference include footballer, Michael O’Neill and field hockey player, Stephen Martin.
