The first of two Full Member Women’s sides leave Asia today en route to Dublin for the Women’s Tri-Series at the end of August
Bangladesh Women leave Dhaka today to travel to Dublin where they will be taking part in tri-nation one-day international & Twenty20 match series. With the host Ireland, Bangladesh along with Pakistan are participating in the two different series, which will be starting with the one day match between Bangladesh and Pakistan on August 21. In the second match, they will face the host Irish team on August 22.
During the tour, Bangladesh will first play four-ODI and later three-T20 match series. The Twenty20 series will start on August 24. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 15 member squad for the Ireland tour. Salma Khatun will lead the team as captain, while Ayesha Rahman Shuktara will act as vice captain.
