The Women’s T20 International between Bangladesh and Pakistan at Clontarf Cricket Club has been abandoned without a ball being bowled due to heavy overnight and continuing rain.
Today’s match was serving as a warm-up for the T20 International Series that will be held tomorrow and Wednesday in Clontarf Cricket Club. Ireland Women will play Bangladesh Women tomorrow afternoon before facing Pakistan Women at noon on Wednesday. Clare Shillington sits on 99 caps for Ireland and could become the first woman to play 100 times for Ireland this week.
