Munster Reds - the most recent team to enter the Inter-Provincial Series - had some tough seasons early on until their breakthrough year in 2022 when they won one trophy and were just denied the double on the last day.
South African who was identified by Graham Ford when playing against Ireland back in 2019. Made his international debut in an empty Southampton stadium against England during the pandemic the following year before he made his IP debut for Lightning. Another Dublin-based international who started out with Lightning but was moved by the Ireland selectors to strengthen Reds in 2021 and he helped the Munster side win their first IP title the following year. Finished last season with an innings of 98 against Warriors. The leg spinner and big hitter is a regular on the Ireland T20 side.
Finally made his Ireland debut in 2023 on Ireland’s tour of Zimbabwe, after being a squad member throughout the previous year. Made debut for Lightning in 2016 but played in the Trophy for two seasons with Reds before moving to Warriors in 2021 as their regular wicket-keeper. Leading runs scorer in the Trophy. Captained Emerging Ireland in West Indies last year.
Studying at Loughborough with Phillipe le Roux, was on Academy trip to West Indies last year. In competition with Matthew Humphreys for further honours. Best figures of five for 42 against Warriors at The Marydke in 2022 in the Cup. Younger brother of Alistair.
Arrived in Ireland as a refugee amidst a lot of media attention. Spent last two winters in Pakistan. A promising player based in Munster, still qualifying for Ireland. Debut for Reds this season and has already impressed taking big wickets in his first two games.
Irish-passport holder who played two memorable innings for Ireland at the U-19 World Cup in his native South Africa this year – before playing any club cricket! Has been snapped up by Cliftonville Academy in NCU this year. Scored 90 in opening U-19 World Cup game against Bangladesh and 72 in the win over New Zealand. Exciting talent.
Played for four seasons in Cork and after one season at Railway Union has joined The Hills this season. A powerful batter, he captained Munster Heat to victory in the Future Series in 2022, the year he also made his Reds debut. Qualified for Ireland last year.
Captained Ireland U19s at this year’s World Cup in South Africa and now playing at Loughborough College. Good against spin and very professional attitude. Made his senior IP debut this year.
South African who has been a prolific wicket-taker since his interpro debut in 2019. Has taken one every 15 balls in the Trophy and one every 27 balls in the Cup at an average of just 21. Has also played for Ireland Wolves.
More than useful batter as well as having that extra yard of pace which makes him one of the quicker bowlers in the competition. After just two seasons, already in top four of the Cup bowling averages with 18 wickets. Definitely one to watch.
Tall, aggressive bowler who hits the pitch. Previously played in Cork where he was studying and moved to Dublin where he was selected for and played for Leinster Bolts. Made his debut in both formats last season.
Played at Under-19 World Cup this season and scored half-century against Pakistan. Bowls stump to stump and dymanic, powerful batter who can clear the ropes. Doing his Leaving Certificate this year. Exciting talent.

Zimbabwean who transferred allegiance to Ireland last year and has already played five Test matches for his adopted country. Has been playing IP cricket since 2021 and still holds the record for the competition’s highest score, 152 against Lightning. Has Grade 3 hamstring injury and in race against time to be fit for Test match in July.

Very tall, all the attributes to be a quick bowler and can develop his batting. Had a good Under-19 World Cup and captained the Under-19s in Guernsey in April. Made his senior IP debut against Warriors this year.

Played one game in Under 19 World Cup and took a wicket. Doing Leaving Cert this year so has study commitments. Good work ethic, good fielder and big hopes that he can be the next left arm seamer.
Regular in the Ireland T20 team, with a good high action, and already has played 26 internationals, plus three Test matches and two ODIs. Went straight from Afghanistan series in UAE this year to Nepal with Ireland Wolves. After two seasons with Knights, including a summer of club cricket with CSNI, he moved to Reds last year.
A former Irish international with an enviable batting record - 83 caps, 2,812 runs at 31.95 with a highest score of 190 v UAE.
His 115 v Zimbabwe at Sabina Park was the first century by an Irish batter at a World Cup.
