Brendan O’Brien may be better known as father of Niall and Kevin, but he was a worthy recipient of the Hall of Fame in his own right. A free-scoring batsman, he made 1,636 runs, scoring nine 50s in his 52 appearances – a figure dwarfed by the 757 caps won by his cricketing sons and hockey-playing daughter Ciara.
