All you need to know…
The Ireland Men’s tour of the UAE

Cricket Ireland Coaches Association launches it’s first newsletter, following a very active winter Coach Education Programme.
On the heels of the latest Coach Education season, (September-April) the Coach Education Department will be publishing a Newsletter every quarter: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, with the purpose of raising the profile of coaching in Irish cricket.
During this period, we have seen 258 coaches attend a Cricket Ireland Coach Education Course.
(20 ECB Club Coaches, 33 ECB Level Two Coaches, 77 ECB Level One Coaching Assistants and 128 ICC Europe Introduction to Cricket Coaches.)
All of these coaches, along with anyone who has ever attended a Cricket Ireland coaching course is entitled to receive the newsletter, however in a ‘once-off’ promotion, anyone can download the first edition for free!
To download the 1st Edition – Click here to download (or right click and click save link/target as)
The contents include:
· Local news from coaches ‘on the ground’
· New coaching drills and technical ideas
· Information on how to join the Coach Association
· Insights from Cricket Ireland’s elite coaches
· Reward and recognition for Irish coaches
· Application form for Coach Education courses
The Coach Association hopes to bring coaches closer together and share the great ideas that are evident throughout Irish cricket. Over time, we hope to increase the profile of coaching in clubs and schools and we hope that the newsletter is another step towards building the coaching community throughout the country.
Hopefully the newsletter is one way that we can demonstrate the benefit of becoming a member of the ECBCA, Cricket Ireland CA and your local Coach Association.
Please enjoy and if you would like to print a copy or join the Coach Association, email stephen.moreton@irishcricket.org who will forward you the printable version.
