Grant Funding opportunities
Irish Government’s Sports Capital Programme
The Sports Capital Programme (SCP) is operated by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport and provides grants to assist in the development or refurbishment of sports facilities and the provision of sports equipment. The Programme aims to foster an integrated and planned approach to developing sports and physical recreation facilities throughout the country. Grants are available to sports clubs, voluntary and community groups, national governing bodies of sport and local authorities. Third level colleges, Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and schools may only apply for funding jointly with sports clubs or organisations.

Community Loan Finance
Clann Credo Community Loan Finance has helped transform communities and the lives of many. They work with Voluntary and Community Groups, Charities, Social Enterprises and Amateur Sports Clubs around the country. Clan Credo provide loans for groups working in the areas of: Community Facilities; Sports and Recreation; Social Housing; Arts and Tourism; Enterprise Centres and Sustainable Energy. Clann Credo Community Loan Finance takes the form of: Bridging Loans; Match Funding Loans; Capital Equipment Loans; Working Capital and Property Loan
