Orla Prendergast stars with bat and ball in win over PNG

The Club Safeguarding Compliance Survey has been developed to help strengthen and support grassroots sport in order to ensure that children and young people are made safer.
Completing the survey is a short and easy process, as clubs will likely have most of the information already.
The survey looks at all areas of Safeguarding in the club, ensuring compliance across the board and highlighting actions that may be required.
It is mandatory for all cricket clubs to complete this survey, and it is in line with Safeguarding legislation from Sport Ireland, Sport NI and the NSPCC. All sports in the country must complete this survey.
To support your club, we will hold a number of workshops where we will discuss what the Safeguarding Compliance Survey entails, how it will work and what supports are available.
We recommend that one of the following people attend one of the workshops: Club Chairperson, Club Children’s Officer or Designated Liaison Person.
Dates, times and registration links for the workshops are as follows (additional workshops can be accommodated, if required):
• 7pm, Tuesday 28 September 2021 (register here)
• 7pm, Wednesday 29 September 2021 (register here)
• 10.30am, Thursday 30 September 2021 (register here)
