Cricket Ireland has revealed that just a few hundred tickets remain on sale for the RSA Challenge ODI against England at Malahide on Tuesday (10:30am).
Strong demand for the blue riband fixture has seen more than 9,000 tickets gone for the biggest cricket match ever staged in Ireland.

Indeed, such is the level of sales in recent days that the match is expected to be a sell-out before this weekend if sales continue at their current level. Cricket Ireland strongly advises those wishing to attend that the only way to ensure being at the match on Tuesday is to purchase their tickets now in advance.

Cricket Ireland Marketing Manager Andrew Leonard said: “There has been a real surge in the ticket sales over the last 10 days as the RSA Challenge draws ever closer. The imagery coming from the stadium has given a real sense of just how great a day it will be and we’re really hopeful now of having the sold out signs up in advance of Tuesday.

“There is no doubt there is always something extra special about an Ireland versus England fixture in any sport. The added thrill of it happening at the stunning new international ground in Malahide in front of the largest cricket crowd ever assembled in Ireland makes it the ‘must have’ ticket at the end of this summer.”
