Freya comes from a proud cricketing family and has been immersed in the game her whole life. Her proudest moment in cricket was when she played against England U19s in the 2023 U19 World Cup on her 17th birthday.
Unusual in the women’s game in that she was a spinner from a young age, it’s not surprising that she looks up to England spinner, Sophie Ecclestone. While cricket is her main passion, she also enjoys learning sign language and baking.
