Cricket Ireland today launched its new Introduction to Umpiring and Scoring Module via mycricketlearning.ie.

This new online module has been designed for coaches, parents, players and volunteers and supports participants to:

• Learn how scoring works
• Understand Umpire signals
• Build coaches, parents and players confidence on and off the field of their understanding of umpiring and scoring
• Introduce new members/volunteers to Umpiring and Scoring
• Takes approximately 20 minutes to complete
• Certificate on completion of the module

This module (developed in conjunction with the former IACUS) is a precursor for those wishing to start their journey into Umpiring and Scoring.

On completion of this module participants have the opportunity to continue their match official development journey via the ICC Foundation Umpire Course (for more information) and or the Beginners Scoring course (for more information) delivered by Cricket Ireland.
