Ireland Women’s captain Gaby Lewis, vice-captain Orla Prendergast and wicket-keeper batter Amy Hunter have all signed up with sides in overseas competitions during the month of September.

In England for 2025 Women’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup, Gaby Lewis has signed for Lancashire Women while Orla Prendergast has returned to the Blaze who she played for in the 2024 season of the competition.

Both players featured for their sides in games on September 4th and will have fixtures on 7, 10 and 13 September 2025.

Should their sides qualify, the semi-finals are set for Wednesday, 17 September 2025, with the final on Sunday, 21 September 2025. Full fixtures can be found here.

Amy Hunter meanwhile has signed up with Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2025 and departs on September 6th to join up with the side.
