DUBLIN – Ireland Men’s cricket team is playing England Men in a three-match T20 International series at Malahide. This is the first-time the two sides have played a T20I series and the first-ever T20I between the two sides in Ireland.
The series will be played in Dublin at Malahide Cricket Club, with matches as follows:
- 17 September: Ireland Men v England Men – 1st T20I (Malahide Cricket Ground; start 1.30pm)
- 19 September: Ireland Men v England Men – 2nd T20I (Malahide Cricket Ground; start 1.30pm) *SOLD OUT
- 21 September: Ireland Men v England Men – 3rd T20I (Malahide Cricket Ground; start 1.30pm) *SOLD OUT
Tickets are selling fast – Friday 19 September and Sunday 21 September are officially sold out, while Wednesday 17 September is close to sold out.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
The two sides have only played each other twice in the T20I format – both matches were at ICC T20 World Cup tournaments.
- The first match was in 2010 – it was a No Result
- The second match being at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Melbourne where Ireland won by 5 runs (DLS).

- Ben Calitz has received his first senior international call-up for Ireland Men:
- 23-year old Ben Calitz was born in Vancouver, Canada and moved to Ireland in 2022.
- He has represented Canada at Under-19s level.
- He has played club cricket with Holywood CC, Muckamore CC and (now) Lisburn CC.
- In 2024 he made his debut for the Northern Knights, but has also represented Munster Reds in the Inter-Provincial Series.
- In April 2025, he was selected for the Ireland Wolves tour to UAE.
