What is On the Front Foot?

The On the Front Foot programme aims to advance the innovation, creativity and leadership capabilities of Future Female Cricket Leaders in Ireland. Delivered in partnership with Carrie on Developing , a strong feature of this programme is the emphasis on action learning theory along with cross-region interaction and sharing that will allow future leaders to discuss experiences, challenges and learning in a safe and supportive environment. The Female Leaders will receive individualised professional development, which includes access to coaching mentors, as well as experts from various performance environments both inside sport and from other professional domains.

Who is it for?

The programme is FREE and open to female members of cricket clubs over the age of 18 involved in ANY aspect of the sport at every level. This includes players, coaches, volunteers, administrators, activators and more.

What’s involved?

It runs from September to March and involves six 90-minute online evening sessions and two in-person Saturdays at the Sport Ireland Institute in Dublin. We have created a format that works for women in all locations.
